The book <관용어와속담으로배우는한국어> starts with idioms and proverbs, and uses various situations and images to help foreigners learn authentic Korean. It is also fully prepared and designed for the relevant question types that often appear in the intermediate and advanced levels of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK).
When I was attending the intermediate and advanced Korean courses at the Multicultural Center, the Korean teacher chose this textbook. Through images and situations, it is particularly easy to remember. Studying a few of them every week has been very helpful when watching the news and having daily conversations with Koreans.
