In February 2018, Lee Se-a started a serial project that no one invited her to write. The series is called "Daily Lee Se-a", which is a plan to write an article every day and send it to the subscriber's mailbox. Lee Se-a recruits subscribers who are willing to read her articles through social media. As long as they pay 10,000 won per month, they can receive her essays every day from Monday to Friday. There are 20 articles a month, which means that each article only costs 500 won.

Lee Se-e initially planned this "self-help serialization plan" in order to repay her 25 million won student loan. It turned out to be a huge success within 6 months. Lee Se-e started her own independent creative life with this writing service that directly deals with readers.

The Daily Essays of Lee Se-ah is a collection of articles that were serialized via email from spring to autumn 2018. The content may also be the first draft of a story that will be rewritten one day. This book contains nearly 100 original manuscripts and was selected as the first "Best Book of the Year" by "Current Affairs IN" and independent bookstores across the country.
