This is a card set that allows you to print cyanotype images by hand and preserve them in a frame.
Cyanotype is an image reproduction technology that originated in the 18th century. It uses chemical photosensitive liquid to develop after exposure to sunlight. It was once widely used for the reproduction of architectural drawings and other purposes.
The cyanotype card set includes: 5 sheets of photosensitive paper, 1 transparent film, 1 paper photo frame and stand.
You can write a short note on the back of the cyanotype photo you developed by hand to preserve this special memory forever in deep blue.
⊹ How to cyanotype plant shapes:
❶ Place the plant specimens on the included cards.
❷ Place in direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes.
❸ Rinse the card with clean water to reveal the pattern.
・ In addition to plant specimens, you can also use black and white negative film, or any specific shape of objects for cyanotype.
・ Photosensitive paper is light-sensitive. Please put it back in the envelope when not in use and avoid exposing it to sunlight.
