"The Story of a Young Lady" can be said to be a wordless picture book. The author Yoon Yeo-jun observed his grandfather's daily routine for four years, presenting a day of his grandfather living alone, and finally ending with a passage from his grandfather's diary, allowing readers to feel the deep tenderness and love, which is touching.

Yin Rujun used the warmth and simplicity of colored pencils to depict a grandfather in his 90s getting up to wash, feed the fish, water the potted plants, and go out for yoga class. The grandfather followed the teacher's movements carefully. After class, he bought a bouquet of flowers on the way home and couldn't wait to go home and put them in a vase. It continued to snow at night. The grandfather wrote in his diary:

Although I miss you so much, I can't meet you.
But today I also want to say hello to my wife in heaven,
Today I had a good meal, worked out hard, and got through the day.
On the way home,
I bought the tulips you liked.
What do you think? Is it blooming beautifully?
It's snowing all day today.
I feel that the cold winter is warmed up by this.

Writer Yoon revealed that his grandfather met and fell in love with his grandmother who had fled to Daejeon for refuge during the war. They worked together as teachers in school and have been married for more than 60 years. However, after his grandmother passed away, his grandfather lived alone in Daejeon and is still in very good health.
