" 모 "이야기 " is a book of courage. The Mercedes cat " Mo " who couldn't sleep in the middle of the night saw a flash of smiling light in the sky. In order to find the smiling light, Mo bravely stepped into the dark forest and started his journey. The animals he met along the way were sincere and friendly.

The squirrel gentleman taught it etiquette, the cooking master raccoon gave it a good meal, and the elk family who loved to throw parties made it forget the hard work of the journey for a short time, but they all told Mo that there was a terrible bear in the forest and Mo should be careful.

Mo, who is on the road alone, musters up the courage to continue the unknown journey. Will he really encounter a scary bear? Did Mo finally find the light of smile? This is a story that allows people to meet courage again and break the fear of the unknown.

Mo 's real self, "Agent Mao," also met his owner, Cui Ranzhou, the author of this book, in 2018 after a wandering journey. Cui Ranzhou imagined the journey that Agent Mao might have experienced and created this book, hoping to encourage readers who are embarking on new challenges in life: "Don't be afraid."

The original Korean version is a hardcover edition made of cloth binding, with the title printed in black and stickers embedded, which feels warm and simple. In May this year, the Italian version won the Strega Prize, the most prestigious literary award in Italy, and Choi Yeon-ju became the first Korean to win the award.
