This is the first Korean photographic essay collection with tattoos as its theme. It is a collection of essays that records the most private voices of ten contemporary Korean creators, including poets, rappers, actors, photographers, etc. who are willing to give their hearts to eternal tattoos.

The author of this book, Yoo Han-kyung, is also a photographer. He spent more than a year interviewing 10 tattooed women. These people are not afraid of eternity, but they desire eternity; they are willing to endure the pain and carve tattoos into their bodies. Through tattoos, they make their bodies a kind of memory container: hiding love, inspiring inspiration, resisting social discipline and oppression, escaping from the sight of others, supporting their beliefs, proving that they are worthy of being loved, or sublimating wounds into the skin of art.

South Korea has more than 3 million tattooed people and has become one of the leading places in the world for tattoo culture. Celebrities from all over the world come to South Korea to get tattoos. However, tattoos are still illegal in South Korea, and even the Criminal Law and the Medical Law explicitly punish tattoo artists. Today, the discussion on the "legalization of the tattoo industry" regarding the rights of tattoo artists and consumer safety is also underway.
