〈 WALK 〉 is a small magazine founded by the independent bookstore Storage Book and Film in 2013. It allows people who love photography to publish their own photo collections. It solicits works and themes every month. 100 copies are printed in limited quantities each time, and they will be out of print once they are sold out.
Travelers who are obsessed with images leave their footprints around the world and in their daily lives, and sometimes become the scenery in the eyes of others. 〈 WALK 〉 has series themed on cities around the world, as well as series that capture specific angles and seasons.
The theme of this issue of <WALK> Behind is back views. The photographer traveled around 7 countries in Europe in 4 months and collected other people's back views during the trip. For him, appreciating strangers during the trip gave him a wonderful sense of security. Every time he pressed the shutter and collected these photos, he realized that this was his way of traveling, a process of slowly observing, imagining and understanding. Through photographs, he no longer felt unfamiliar with these attractions. The reason why he found the back views interesting was that the subjects were facing the same direction as him.
